York Charity Walkathon

Written by: ISL

ISL York supported living service clients and staff raised £223 with a walkathon for local charity partner – St Nicks – Home – who run a wide range of conservation, sustainability and nature based projects for peoples wellbeing and local wildlife.

The charity walkathon start and finish point was from Portland street and walked to a local green space called Bootham Park, with laps of the green.

6800 steps were walked  (just over 3 miles).  Each lap took the team approximately 1000 steps.

A huge well done to all involved and thank you to all who supported the fun event.
