ProvidersUnite Letter

ISL support the campaign mobilised  by www.providersunite.co.uk. This campaign sets out:

‘Our sector is critically underfunded today, and we need £8.4bn to meet future demand, improve access to care and cover the full cost of care by 2024/25. The recent Autumn Budget announcements have substantially added to these costs:  Please sign our letter to Chancellor Rachel Reeves, urgently calling for an immediate review of these measures and for the establishment of exemptions similar to those granted to the NHS. Alternatively, we ask that she adjusts Local Government Finance to bridge this funding gap.’

The letter is open to anyone to sign, either as a representative of an organisation or simply a concerned citizen. We would ask anyone who is concerned by the pressures facing social care to sign the letter via the link here www.providersunite.co.uk
