Launching Crisis Café

Excited to begin 2022 by announcing the launch of a new Crisis Café in Cheshire East. This will enable people to access support close to home at times when someone is experiencing mental health crisis. Access to the service may be by self referral, or referral by local teams. People will be able to access individual support,  peer support, food and refreshments, somewhere safe to go with advice on hand.  This will enhance ISL’s crisis offer in Cheshire East and also mental health pathways locally by improving quality of life outcomes for individuals and reduce pressure on NHS beds through avoiding unnecessary hospital admissions.

The service is being delivered in partnership with teams from Cheshire Wirral Partnership NHS and Cheshire East Council. We look forward to the service opening in February.
