Charity Partnerships
Independence Support is a community-focused organisation dedicated to supporting local charities in their efforts to improve the lives of those in need. Our mission is to ensure that vital services remain available to individuals and families in our community who may not have access to them otherwise.
Through our partnerships with local charities, we work to identify the most pressing needs in our community and aim to raise funds which will help to address them. Whether it’s supporting food banks, Mental wellbeing charities or charities supporting people with learning or physical disabilities, Independence Support is committed to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
At Independence Support, we understand that our community is only as strong as its most vulnerable members. That’s why we believe in the power of collaboration and community-driven initiatives to effect real change. By working together with local charities, we can create a better future for everyone in our community.
Throughout our partnership with the chosen charities will we not only aim to raise funds through corporate funding events and Charity specific service fundraisers but also we will help raise awareness of their cause using our media channels.
Join us in our mission to support local charities and empower those most in need. Together, we can make a difference and create a brighter future for our community.

Equine Pathways UK is a Leeds based equine therapy organisation, offering sessions to children and adults suffering with mental disorders and impairments. Our centre users range from children struggling with bullying, autism and learning difficulties; to adults battling depression and overcoming other stressful illnesses.
Our aim is to enable and empower them to make informed choices, about issues affecting their lives. We provide support – for those young people 16 to 25 – from The Base, our Day Centre, and Night Shelter, which serves as emergency accommodation for those who need it most.
Our goal is to provide relief for those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage for families & communities in Stoke-on-Trent & it’s surrounding areas, through the provision of emergency food, essential toiletries, a food larder and other essential items.
We are a charity powered by volunteers, battling homelessness and poverty, with hope, help and a hot meal.
Silklife Foodbank was established in December 2010, in response to Macclesfield’s growing need for on-the-spot emergency food boxes. Each food box provides five days of nutritional, non-perishable food for those in our neighbourhood who have fallen on hard times and are temporarily unable to provide for themselves, often through no fault of their own.
The Farnworth & Kearsley Foodbank provides emergency food and support to local people in crisis. We provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis.
We are St Nicks, based at St Nicks Environment Centre hidden behind residential properties in the Tang Hall area of York. We have a thriving 24 acre nature reserve that is free to explore 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Our volunteer team help us maintain and manage our reserve for the benefit of people and wildlife. We have recently expanded into managing green corridors around York.
We support children and young people with cerebral palsy up to the age of 25 through the provision of free weekly conductive education (CE) sessions. Our sessions are delivered by highly skilled professionals from our specialist centres in Wallasey and Runcorn and are designed to help each child reach their personal potential in terms of mobility, confidence, and independence.
We are a small vibrant charity that provides a varied programme of fully inclusive and accessible clubs and social activities for children, young people and adults.
